Ethiopia: Praying for Peace Amid Calls for Civil War
War is the failure of all negotiations.
War is the gateway to poverty
If change is necessary
we must seek another path
the path of peace
and in the face of helplessness
anger, hatred, and the roar of bombings
all that remains for us
is to seek forgiveness in silence
and pray for peace
We pray for peace
by candlelight
that illuminates the path of dialogue
We pray for peace
and for building bridges of dialogue
And as medical staff
we will always
open the hospital’s doors to care for
all innocent victims,
who are not sides but people
and always deserve to live.
For peace, NO TO WAR!!!!
I'm very concerned about what's happening in Ethiopia. Let's hope the clashes don't spread too far.
