I was born in Ethiopia – እኔ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ነው የተወለደው

I was born in 1985. You are more likely to be born in Africa than in Europe, but I was born in Europe. Only God knows.
I was more likely to be born in Ethiopia than in Spain, but I was born in Spain. Only God knows.
That made the difference. Only God knows .
I was born in Barcelona on 29 March of 1985. That same day, another child was born in Ethiopia like me, but in the middle of a  great famine in the region. Born between walls. No health care. The mother could have died in childbirth. The child would probably die within a few days.
I was born in Barcelona, ​​in a hospital and in a great family. That made the difference. Only God knows .
I had a childhood, a balanced diet, love family, friends, I went to school even college. And I’m still alive.
While I was playing carefree other children were «playing» to survive desperately looking for food to stay alive.
While I was spitting food, other children had nothing to put in their mouths.
I did nothing to deserve being born where I was born, by having a great childhood, to live … Only God knows .
It’s a great responsibility. Now it’s taking responsibility. Now it match. Now it’s Africa.
All children deserve the same opportunities no matter where they are born, child birth, and the religion they profess.
In my days in Ethiopia, more than one child received my name. To name a new child, give the name to a new life on earth … Give the name it is more than just give the name. Is to a large part of you, if not most of you, as big and important to you. Give the name is give yourself.

However, the joy of giving your name, becomes sad when the new Iñaki, a few months of life dies.

እኔ አንተ በአውሮፓ ውስጥ ይልቅ በአፍሪካ ውስጥ እንዲወለድ ዕድላቸው ከፍተኛ ነው በ 1985 የተወለደ ነበር, ነገር ግን እኔ አውሮፓ ተወለደ. አምላክ ብቻ ያውቃል.
እኔ ስፔን ይልቅ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ እንዲወለድ ዕድላቸው ሰፊ ነበር, ነገር ግን እኔ ስፔን ውስጥ ተወለድኩ. አምላክ ብቻ ያውቃል.

እኔም በዚያው ቀን, ሌላ ልጅ እንደ እኔ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ተወለደ ይህ 1985 29 ማርች ላይ ባርሴሎና ውስጥ የተወለደው, ነገር ግን በክልሉ ውስጥ ታላቅ ራብ መሃል ላይ ነበር. ቅጥር መካከል መወለድ. ምንም የጤና እንክብካቤ. ወደ እናት ልጅ ሞተዋል ይችል ነበር. ልጁ ምናልባት በጥቂት ቀናት ውስጥ ይሞታሉ ነበር.
እኔ ሆስፒታል ውስጥ ታላቅ ቤተሰብ ውስጥ, ባርሴሎና ውስጥ ተወለደ. ይህ ልዩነት አደረገ. አምላክ ብቻ ያውቃል.
እኔ ትምህርት ቤት እስከ ኮሌጅ ሄደ: የልጅነት, የተመጣጠነ ምግብ, ፍቅር ቤተሰብ, ጓደኞች ነበሩት. አሁንም ድረስ በሕይወት ነኝ.
እኔም በስሜትና ከሌሎች ልጆች «በመጫወት ላይ» ነበር እየተጫወተ ሳለ በሕይወት ለመቆየት ምግብ እየፈለገ አምርሬ እንዲተርፉ.
እኔ ምግብ እንትፍ እያለ, ሌሎች ልጆች በአፋቸው ውስጥ ለማስቀመጥ ምንም ነገር ነበር.
እኔ ለመኖር ታላቅ የልጅነት በማድረግ, የተወለደው የት እንደተወለደ እየተደረገ የሚገባቸው ምንም አደረገ … አምላክ ብቻ ያውቃል.
ይህ ታላቅ ኃላፊነት ነው. አሁን ኃላፊነት እየፈጀ ነው. አሁን አይዛመድም. አሁን አፍሪካ ነው.
ሁሉም ልጆች ተመሳሳይ አጋጣሚ ምንም እነርሱ የተወለደው የት ጉዳይ, ልጅ ሲወለድ, እና እነሱ በግልጥ ሃይማኖት ይገባል.
